and so it begins...

Easton and I got married for time and all eternity on December 17, 2010  in the Draper, UT temple. It was the single most magical day of our lives, and it has continued to be a fantastic ride since. As I look back, I can't believe how quickly that these past fifteen months have come and gone. I always told myself that I'd do a blog when we started having kids, but so much has already happened that hasn't been documented so I decided that I'd better start now before I miss anything else... Just a quick recap: I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in Music, Dance, Theatre; Easton broke his leg the very last practice of spring ball; I went to LA/NYC with my senior class and performed for numerous agencies and casting directors; I finished school and moved to Cedar City with Easton; We got our first apartment and did all of our own decor; We went on a spontaneous trip to Vegas where I pushed Easton in wheel chair all around the strip; I performed at Tuacahn for six months playing the role of Cha Cha in Grease and Arista in The Little Mermaid; Easton almost had to get shoulder surgery; I learned how to cook, I also had to learn how to cook gluten-free on top of that; SUU Football upset the UNLV Rebels; Easton started every game for the Thunderbirds and had a very successful Freshman year of Football, with no injuries; We almost got killed by a gigantic buck in Park City; We bought our first car; Easton was awarded an All-Conference Academic Award; We went on a second honeymoon to Disneyland; Easton became a musical theatre fan; I was cast in the Dream 3 show for Disney Cruise Lines, but after lots of prayer we decided that I needed to still be in Cedar; Easton gained 40 pounds, pure muscle; We celebrated our one year anniversary in the Little America; We became an aunt/uncle for the second time, to beautiful twins; I was recast in the shows at Tuacahn for Summer 2012 where we will be playing Hairspray and Aladdin; Easton will pick a major any day now; we started a blog.
So that's our marriage in a nutshell. We'd love it if you stuck around and got to know us a little better. This is going to be a journey that never ends...
